Benjamin Franklin, assessing the newly written constitution prophesied that the American experiment:  “can only end in Despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic Government”.  Are we there yet?  Old guys, old ways, old dogmas, old corruptions are hanging on hard.  If the kids don’t decide what kind of societies they want and vote out the old, we will soon be there.
